Tom Parks was fortunate to become a member of NASA KSC SWAT from 2001 to 2010. Over the course of his 8-year tenure with the team, Tom served in various key roles:

8 years on the Astronaut/Dignitary Protection Team

4 years as Tactical Shift Lead

5 years as a Sniper Team Member

3 years as Sniper Team Lead

3 years as a Lieutenant

NTOA Shoot House Instructor

Firearms and Tactics Instructor

From 2010 to 2015, Tom served as a contractor for the Department of State WPS contract in Baghdad, Iraq, where he worked as both a Firearms Instructor and Range Master Firearms Instructor.
