Jason is currently a Detective with the Melbourne Police Department, where he has served for 12 years in various capacities. He is a state-certified firearms instructor within his department, demonstrating a strong commitment to both law enforcement and personal development.
A lifelong learner, Jason strives to remain a student of life, continuously seeking out training and instructor development in firearms, tactics, and tactical medical care. Over the years, he has attended numerous training courses, including tactical pistol and rifle curriculums (State LE courses), force-on-force instructor training, adult learning seminars, and firearms instructor conferences. Additionally, Jason is a certified instructor for ALERRT, an organization specializing in active killer response training for law enforcement.
Jason’s experience with firearms extends beyond his professional career. As a longtime enthusiast of the hunting community, he brings a deep personal passion for firearms to his work. He is also a staunch advocate for the Second Amendment and an unwavering believer in the United States Constitution and the rights it protects.
