Firearm Transfer Policy

Effective 1/1/2023


Transfer Fee: $25 per firearm.


Waiting Period: A 3-day wait begins on the date of purchase (excluding weekends and holidays).


Exemptions: If you hold a Valid Florida Concealed Carry Weapons License, the waiting period does not apply.


Storage Policy: Firearms will be held for 60 days. After this period, a notice will be sent, and a $5 per day storage fee will apply. If unclaimed after 180 days, the firearm will be considered abandoned and sold.
